Healing Wounded Feminine Energy: How You Can Release Toxic Habits for True Divine Spiritual fulfilment

“You can think of divine feminine energy as a beautiful secure vase of water, she can hold that water she is grounded in herself. She is full of love, confidence and happiness.

Whereas a wounded feminine vase would have holes or cracks on the sides with water weeping out, theres no security to even hold abundance or love. The water that is slipping out and leaks onto everything else around it…

In the same way the wounded feminine leaks out onto others around her, decaying them.”

Have you ever found yourself stuck on autopilot; pleasing others, burnt out, distant from your own feelings and wondered, “Where did my softness, my glow, and my true feminine energy go?”

If so, you’re far from alone, and even more importantly, you’re in exactly the right place. Healing wounded feminine energy isn’t just a feeling or appearance. It’s the key to unlocking spiritual fulfilment, emotional freedom, and the confident, radiant version of you that’s waiting to be seen.

Expert and feminine energy coach Alexis Smith reminds us that wounds in our feminine energy only show up as subconsious habits and patterns, we just need to bring light to them. She guides women in identifying and releasing toxic habits that block your path to divine feminine empowerment.

Here at Bloom with Flore, we’re all about turning that insight into real transformation. In this post, i’ll walk you through how to release those unconscious habits, reclaim your true feminine essence, and step into spiritual fulfilment. Let’s dive in together, because your journey to healing begins now.

1. letting go of victim mindset

One of the most powerful steps in healing wounded feminine energy is releasing the victim mindset. That quiet, underlying belief that life is happening to you rather than for you.

When we’re living in our wounded feminine, it can feel easy to stay in a place of self-pity, resentment, or helplessness.

Maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking, “Why does this always happen to me?” or “No one ever shows up for me.” These thoughts don’t make you weak they simply reveal areas where your energy is craving love and empowerment.

Letting go of this mindset means taking radical responsibility for your emotions and your healing journey. It’s not about blaming yourself for what’s happened it’s about reclaiming your power to choose how you respond.

As feminine energy coach Alexis Smith shares in her video “Healing wounded feminine energy” stepping out of victimhood allows you to return to your natural state of magnetism and flow.

Start by noticing the stories you tell yourself. When a challenge arises, shift the question from “Why me?” to “What is this trying to teach me?”

This simple shift invites self-awareness, healing, and emotional responsibility; the essence of divine feminine strength.

Remember, you are not what happened to you; you are what you choose to become after it.

2. Trusting yourself: opening up to love

Now you are beginning to understand how to create stronger boundaries, and identifying victim mentalities, it is so important to next learn how to fully trust them. Trust in yourself.

The way you move and hold yourself, trust in your future, trust your decisions and learn how to open up to loving them and yourself freely. This could manifest in the form of letting go of those toxic attachment styles, negative patterns and taking a self into true self healing.

Read more on how you can do this in our post; ‘Healing 101: letting go of toxic traits to become your most authentic self. '

3. Visualise your highest self, and then show up as her

“You can envision yourself as your most healed version and begin to show up as HER…”

— Alexis smith

Visualisation is your most powerful tool, if you struggle to open up and trust the path you are taking…

visualise a world where you don’t.

Align yourself mentally and emotionally with what you want and you will then start to attract the very thing you desire.

There is magic in believing in yourself, even if at first it all seems a delusion, when you make a promise to yourself you can’t break it.

4. Speaking your truth

You can start to trust yourself in alot of ways, as this does take courage. However, if you don’t begin to start speaking your truth and expressing this newfound trust it will surely fade away.

When you hold back from expressing your authentic feminine side you can easily work to block certain blessings and abundance that you are currently attracting within your life. It is easy to hide and become shy about your beliefs, truths and aspirations.

Yet when you can show up confidently; as yourself and for yourself all of this changes.

5. control your emotions

In the final step to healing your wounded feminine it is important to recognise how you are dealing with these changes. When you are triggered, when emotions rise up and you feel yourself falling into negative patterns or habits, it’s important to teach yourself control. This doesn’t mean to , hide and distract yourself from your emotions yet it shows how you can find healthy ways to understand them and feel them.

For example; this could be in the form of feeling your emotions instead of using projection to cover them up.

It could also include activities as an outlet such as hobbies, creative pass times and surrounding yourself with things people and environments you feel loved, safe and connected too.

Healing your wounded feminine energy isn’t about striving for perfection. It’s about coming home to yourself. It’s learning to let go of toxic habits, self-doubt, and the need to control, and instead allowing softness, intuition, and trust to guide you. This journey isn’t linear; it’s a gentle unfolding.

You’ll have moments of resistance and release, but each step brings you closer to inner peace and spiritual fulfillment.

As Alexis Smith beautifully expresses embracing your feminine energy means remembering that you are already whole you’re simply peeling back the layers that made you forget.
