Ways On How To Stay In Your Feminine Energy Whilst Unlearning ‘Hustle Culture’
Wanting to claim and embody your feminine energy more into your life, but don’t know how? Want to understand how you can embrace your femininity, whilst working in today’s society’s ‘hustle and bustle’ culture?
If this is you; read on to find out ways you can embody and stay in your authentic feminine energy whilst unlearning the ways taught by a masculine world…
Many of us women have to endure a crazy amount of burnout energy and the general feeling of lethargy when tackling high-pressured tasks like; dealing with the social pressures of motherhood, our careers, our menstrual cycle changes and so much more. These are seen to be swept under the rug and we are told that we should just ‘deal with’ on a daily basis.
It is clear, especially during our cycles, when emotions are high, pressures are overwhelming and sometimes all you need is a good rest day, a pamper and a chance to put your feet up to relax into your feminine energy.
If this seems like a luxury to you, that can all change by understanding that our bodies run on the infradian rhythm that goes against the natural cycle and clock of the circadian rhythm that society mainly runs by.
Therefore, it’s just as important, to make your period your friend, more than your foe and to learn to embrace your menstrual cycle, balancing it to coexist in your daily life rather than making it your enemy that you should fear.
So! here are my personal ways on how you can understand and balance this struggle when faced with problems in a heavy masculine and working environment;
1. Learning to live cyclically
As female embodiment coach, Amy Natalie, mentions in her podcast: ‘The Feminine Frequency Podcast’ there are certain feminine codes you can learn and use to unleash ultimate authenticity and creativity in order to connect to your inner divine feminine. One of those main codes is to start ‘living cyclically’ which explains how we can develop our general lifestyle in order to align ourselves to work with the natural cycle of the daily seasons, instead of against it.
This could mean specifically, shifting your energy from a fight or flight mode when faced with constant tasks, struggles and blockages into more of a connected, grounded and present perspective.
This also can be personal to every woman, yet this could be practised by; daily meditations, connecting more intensely with nature, devotion to taking care of yourself, by tuning in and tracking your menstrual cycle, living in accordance with the moon cycles and learning to feel your emotions instead of taking the wheel to control them.
When living in a cycle of constant avoidance and fear, it is also very important to let yourself become open to receiving, to seek guidance and to trust your intuition when in need of it. To learn more on this topic . . .

2.Understanding how to balance the masculine and feminine
To understand how to balance both the ying and yang we first need to understand what this truly means. It is so imperative to first be open-minded to unlearn toxic definitions of both the masculine and the feminine.
Many of us are taught that both of these energies are separate; the masculine is used when we need discipline, to provide for ourselves and to protect ourselves. Where the feminine is to be seen as less guarded; emotional and receptive.
Yet this can be true, but we aren’t taught that usually, they can both integrate when working together to create a cohesive pattern and shouldn’t be separated.
Instead we can potentially learn to balance the two, finding deep inner moderation and appreciation to uplift these qualities by bringing them together.
This could mean; having self-discipline, protection and providing for ourselves yet also taking care of yourself, letting yourself rest and listening to your intuition in order to enhance those inner feminine qualities.
Many of us don’t like to admit that the true authentic feminine energy constantly works to please and surrender to the masculine, this doesn’t necessarily mean within the context of relationships but also it can identify within our inner emotional selves too. Therefore, balance and moderation is key to understanding how to work and understand both energies, equally within ourselves .
3.Living Authentically (letting go of the toxic traits)
Whilst working tirelessly day in and day out within today’s ‘hustle and bustle culture’ I know you’re wondering how you can even afford to take the time out in order to relax and prioritise sitting down and reflecting on how you can improve tuning into your feminine energy. Yet, most of it is the result of deep inner work and becoming aware of how your environment teaches toxicity.
Essentially, this means observing what we eat, consume, and surround ourselves with, the people we talk to and what we say in our daily lives. So we can grow, develop and change our output into a kinder environment that does allow us to provide time for general wellbeing and rest.
How to practice embodiment of the feminine
you can actively practice this by letting go of negative traits such as;
People pleasing
Negative talk & emotions towards life - love what you do & feel
Not asking for /accepting help
Hiding your most authentic self in order to people please
Holding yourself back from opportunities out of fear - when instead, you can start embracing every side of yourself in order to learn balance and moderation.
And Instead you could …
Organise tasks in accordance with your cycle ( see my blog post linked below) For example:
working out in accordance with your menstrual cycle phases
Learn to embody both sides (masculine and the feminine) in the daily way of living
Learn to control feminine leadership and discipline by leading from your heart and listening to your intuition.
Solidify your core values and uphold them within your daily tasks
Implement daily habits to enhance living in the present moment (meditation, yoga, gratitude journaling) - living in a more grounded energy whilst also balancing busy and heavily pressured tasks.
Having compassion for the masculine instead of hating and confusing the masculine energy as qualities you should avoid.
5. Trying not to avoid masculine traits
Some of us whether we are conscious of it or not, subconsciously ignore and push are inner masculine traits down, as society tell us as women we should. Yet this can become harmful and regress our progress towards embracing our feminine. Avoiding the masculine can create barriers to our healing. We know the feminine surrenders to the masculine therefore our masculine traits we have, need to be understood and nurtured for a healthy and successful balance of our overall energy. This is easily achieved by educating ourselves on the feminine and masculine polarities, how they act in relationships and how we can learn to control our emotions in order for a healthy balance.
